Human-Centric Case Studies in a Digital World

I’ve been curating and designing all types of digital interfaces since 2017, but all of these are far more recent. I design digital products that go beyond pure functionality and usability to evoke trust, joy and brand loyalty.

Accessibility In Design

Quicklane, a mobile app and SaaS product, aimed to improve the drive-through food ordering experience for the deaf and hard of hearing. It showcases my design process, utilizing the double diamond methodology approach from concept to visual design. It also expanded my involvement in business strategies, encompassing tasks like business canvas modeling and revenue planning for sustainable operations.

Habit-forming App

Leveraging the Hook Model, I designed Walk ‘ of cause’ application inspiring young adults to incorporate charity into their daily lives. Tailoring design ideas to user needs, the project aims to create a habit-forming experience, fostering a lasting commitment to practicing charity and kindness in daily routines.

Mobile Application Redesign

I redesigned the mobile application for RupeeCircle, a Peer-to-Peer (P2P) lending platform connecting borrowers with investors. The focus was on delivering a personalized and intuitive user interface to enhance the P2P lending experience, aiming to “make borrowing better and lending smarter” for better mutual financial gains.

Product Design

This project centered on inclusive design for accessible interfaces, blending physical and digital technologies. Research on deaf and hearing disabilities uncovered insights into challenges faced by the hearing impaired.
With my team, we crafted a concept, design, and prototype of a heads-up display (HUD) for vehicles, addressing crucial sound alerts for deaf drivers. Interestingly, this solution benefited not only the targeted group but also others, embodying the universal design principle of creating products usable by a wide audience.

Information Architecture

Fairmount Park Conservancy, dedicated to enhancing Philadelphia’s parks, aimed to reimagine their web platform’s information architecture. Using content-context-users framework, I conducted primary research to map personas and user journeys. A thorough content audit and card sorting informed the redesign of the navigation system, concluding with the application of visual design principles for an improved user experience.
